Description: My Father passed away in November, 2004 at the age of 82. He had few things in his life that he was more proud of than his 27 years of service with the Ann Arbor Fire Department. As a means to remember this service, and to recognize the brotherhood of Firefighters that came to his funeral to honor him (the department provided an excellent Honor Guard who performed a beautiful bell ceremony), I felt it appropriate to have his retirement pin inked for all to see.
